Paulus and his pupils

Paulus created a " pedagogical laboratory " where he was able to experiment new forms of education and teaching. The mere fact that it was a school for boys and girls who lived in "families" each headed by a teacher (called Mitarbeiter or collaborator), was an innovation in 1910 which scandalized the traditionalists and defendors of religion and morality.
